Post Pandemic: Takeaways From Young Healthcare Professionals

For many young people already well in or seeking to enter the healthcare arena, the coronavirus pandemic of 2019-2023 solidified their commitment to working in health care.

Simultaneously, the coronavirus led many to responsibly reassess (read: walk way from) the risks and sacrifices and situation that come with the job, and how consequential the myriad of health care and medical system elements are in a post-pandemic world.

Much is now learned, seen, realized, uncovered and exposed about the degree to which and how the health care ecosystem was positioned per se and took action resulting from the pandemic.

What is known is known.

In moving forward, for their own professional and personal climb, young healthcare professionals must express what values and intents for them have stayed the same and what has changed, albeit slightly or drastically. Future patients will be in their future care.
